What happens if my manual Instacash℠ repayment fails?

Repaying your Instacash advance is easy. Instacash repayments are automated, making it easy to pay on your scheduled repayment date. Or you can manually repay your Instacash advance from the MoneyLion App. Learn how to make manual payments here

If your manual repayment attempt is unsuccessful, please try again. Double check to make sure that you have sufficient funds in your account. If you are attempting to repay from your debit card, you may need to make sure that the debit card information you provided is correct. For your security, we cannot show you the full details of your linked debit card, so if you have any doubt, please update your debit card info in the MoneyLion App and try again.

Also note: For your protection, we will not allow more than three (3) attempts to repay your Instacash advance manually with a debit card per Instacash request cycle.


If your manual attempts to repay your Instacash advance remains unsuccessful by your scheduled repayment date, then the repayment will occur automatically on or after that date. 

As a reminder, you have no obligation to repay any Instacash advance you take but you won’t have access to additional Instacash advances until you have repaid all of your previous advances and related Tips and Turbo Fees. If you do not wish to repay an Instacash advance, you can withdraw the payment authorizations on your accounts or debit cards by following the prompts in the MoneyLion App to remove the payment method, or by contacting customer service at customercare@moneylion.com, or 1-888-704-6970, or at ML Plus LLC, Attn Customer Service, P.O. Box 1547, Sandy, UT 84091-1547. Please note:  You must notify us at least three (3) business days (business days are Mondays through Fridays, excluding bank holidays) before your scheduled repayment date to give us and your financial institution sufficient time to process the revocation.
