How will my Instacash℠ be repaid?

Instacash repayments are automated, making it easy to pay on your scheduled repayment date and replenish your Instacash so it's ready when you need it next! On each scheduled repayment date, the amount of Instacash you received and any related Tips and Turbo Fees will be automatically deducted from your authorized payment account or debit card. There's no interest charged.

Here's how automated Instacash repayments work:

  • When you request for an Instacash advance, you authorize us to electronically debit your RoarMoneySM account, a third-party debit card, or an external linked checking or spending account on the scheduled repayment date. If there is not enough balance in your account, we may deduct a partial repayment and make additional debit attempts until the Instacash amounts are fully repaid (subject to your right to withdraw the payment authorization for your payment methods).
  • If repayment from the payment methods stated above is not successful, we may attempt a debit on any additional payment methods you have added to your ML Wallet. 

Please note: Taking Instacash advances may help you avoid overdraft fees, and we may take steps to help you avoid bank fees when you repay your Instacash advances, but your financial institution will choose whether to reject or cover a transaction in case of an insufficient balance in your account. If they cover the transaction, you may be charged an overdraft fee.

To help avoid overdraft fees, we recommend you have a RoarMoney account funded when it comes time for repayment to ensure quick Instacash repayments and seamless Instacash access! You can transfer funds into the account anytime right in the MoneyLion App. Plus, every time you use your RoarMoney account, you're protecting your hard-earned cash from overdraft  fees!

If the total balance in your authorized payment methods for Instacash repayments is less than the amount of Instacash advances that you have taken and the related Tips and Turbo Fees, then a partial payment may be applied, up to the balance in your authorized payment method. If a partial payment is applied, then we will allocate partial payments first to the Instacash advance amount that you have taken, then to any related Turbo Fees, and then finally to any related Tips.

You have no obligation to repay any Instacash advance you take but remember that you won’t have access to additional Instacash advances until you have repaid all of your previous advances and related Tips and Turbo Fees.  If you do not wish to repay an Instacash advance, you can withdraw the payment authorizations on your accounts or debit cards by following the prompts in the MoneyLion App to remove the payment method, or by contacting customer service at, or 1-888-704-6970, or at ML Plus LLC, Attn Customer Service, P.O. Box 1547, Sandy, UT 84091-1547.  Please note:  You must notify us at least three (3) business days (business days are Mondays through Fridays, excluding bank holidays) before your scheduled repayment date to give us and your financial institution sufficient time to process the revocation.
