I’m trying to re-link my account, and it’s giving me an error that my username has changed since I last linked it, but it hasn’t changed. What’s going on?

The most common cause of such an error is that the first character in your username has been mis-capitalized, either when you first linked it or when you’re trying now. Plaid, the industry-leading platform that we use to securely link your bank accounts, is case sensitive to usernames, even if your bank is not. Try capitalizing or uncapitalizing the first character in your username to see if that fixes the issue. Otherwise, please visit your bank’s website to check your username at your bank account.
